NS9DS 02: 9 Days Turkana Adventure

Day 1: Nairobi - Lake Baringo
Depart Nairobi by 4x4 Land-Cruiser or Land-Rover for L. Baringo with picnic lunch en route. Arrive in the afternoon and set the camp. Afternoon leisure boating and fishing in this Great Rift Valley Lake. Dinner and overnight at the camp.

Day 2: Lake Baringo -Maralal - South Horr
After breakfast leave Baringo for Maralal in the northern frontier of Kenya with lunch en route. Dinner and overnight at South Horr.

Day 3: South Horr - Lake Turkana
After breakfast, depart for Turkana arriving in time for lunch at El Molo campsite on the shores of L.Turkana. Leisure at the Jade Sea with dinner and overnight included.

Day 4 & 5: Lake Turkana
Two days spent exploring the lake for more fun. Visit the El Molo village with lunch at the campsite. Afternoon spent on leisure- swimming (if crocodiles permit), fishing, or relaxing. Overnight at the camp.

Day 6: Turkana-Maralal
After breakfast leave Turkana for Maralal. With picnic lunch en-route. Night spent at Maralal.

Day 7: Maralal - Samburu
Leave Maralal for Samburu Game Reserve. Game viewing as you drive to the camp. Samburu is famous for the reticulated giraffe, Oryx, grevy's zebra, elephants and other wild animals evening game drive returning to the camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 8: Samburu
Morning and evening game viewing in the park. Pre-breakfast game drive returning to the camp for breakfast. Another game drive may be available before lunch at the camp. Dinner and overnight.

Day 9: Samburu-Nairobi or Mt. Kenya
After breakfast, leave Samburu for a journey back to Nairobi with lunch served en route. Drop off in Nairobi. NB: This programme may be extended with an optional Mount Kenya climb being provided, instead of proceeding to Nairobi at an extra charge.

INCLUDED IN THE PACKAGE:
• Meet, greet, and assist at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi.
All transport and transfers in Toyota Land Cruisers or Safari Vans – All vehicles are four wheel drives. A window seat guaranteed for each passenger. All vehicles fitted with VHF/UHF radio for easy communication and FULLY FITTED with air-conditioning and open roofs for photography and game viewing.
• Services of friendly and professional English speaking drivers/ tour guides throughout our stay.
• An extra vehicle and driver to follow the convoy for general support or emergency cases (Applies for large groups only).
• Accommodations as specified above on full board basis (3 meals a day: B-L-D) sharing double rooms.
• Single room supplements available on request.
• Park entry fees and sightseeing fees, including cars’ and drivers’ park entry fees. Driver's allowances
• Two game drives per day while in National parks and Game reserves
• Government taxes including V.A.T
• 1 liter of bottled water per person per day
• Complementary Carnivore Restaurant Dinner one day.

PACKAGE EXCLUDES:

• Personal Spending such as telephone calls, faxes, internet access, laundry
• Airport Departure taxes
• All types of drinks, wines and spirits.
• Tourist entry VISA where required.
• Optional excursions not mentioned in the inclusions and/or quoted separately such as the Mara Balloon Safari.
• Tips and gratuities to driver guides/lodge/hotel staff (Totally recommended). Make use of rewarding for services given. You will motivate then for better services especially the driver/guides.
• Health and travel insurance – each individual to provide own. Travel insurance for Kenya can be purchased through AIG/Travel Guard . Please ask Mary (+254-722-752520) for more information on this if interested.
