BOGORIA:
Lake
Bogoria is considered to be the most beautiful lake in Kenya, Lake
Bogoria is located at the foot of the towering Laikipia Escarpment
in the Great Rift Valley. Bogoria is best known for its scenic settings
and is famous for its furiously erupting hot springs, boiling geysers,
and boiling pools, offering a breathtaking sight to visitors. Lake
Bogoria is also rich in blue-green algae, which attracts thousands
of flamingoes and pelicans to its shores. Some of the hot springs
are ideal for bathing and are excellent natural spas for the visitors.
The area also boasts Buffaloes, Hyenas, Warthogs, Zebras, Impalas,
Baboons, Gazelles, and Dik Diks. Bogoria National Park also protects
one of Kenya's remaining herds of Greater Kudus, which are easily
seen on the eastern shores of the lake.

Day 1: Nairobi / Baringo
Depart Nairobi in the morning for Lake Baringo with a stopover at
the viewpoint of the Great Rift Valley. Boat trips are available
on this lake to view the many birds which inhabit this lake at an
extra cost. Dinner and overnight at Lake Baringo country Club. F/B
Day 2: Baringo - Bogoria - Nairobi
Leave Baringo after breakfast for lake Bogoria National park. Lake
Bogoria is a salty lake within the Great Rift Valley famous for
its natural hot springs and geysers. It has thousands of flamingoes
harboring the lake with animals such as zebra, gazelles, and other
antelopes. Then depart in the afternoon for Nairobi arriving in
the evening. Drop off in Nairobi.
