About
Amboseli National Reserve
Famous for its magestic backdrop of the Kilimanjaro and big herds
of elephants, the Amboseli, (3260 km2), is one of the most beautiful
parks in Kenya. To see the Kilimanjaro in the background you
need to get up early as it is often hidden by clouds, or sometimes
in the evening. You will be able to see many other animals - zebra,
gnu, giraffe, cheetah, lions and so on). Located 200 km south of
Nairobi on a vast plain dotted with locust trees, and
swamp/marshland.

Days/1 Night at Amboseli National Park.
Day
1: Nairobi/ Amboseli
Depart from Nairobi in the morning for Amboseli National park through
Namanga the Kenya/Tanzania Boarder with game enroute arriving at
the Lodge in time for lunch. Famed for its elephant
herds, Amboseli offers spectacular views of Mt. Kilimanjaro. A slow
game drive takes you through herds of Wildbeasts, families of elephants,
buffalo, giraffes and antelope. overnight stay Ol Tukai or Amboseli
Serena Lodge. F/B
Day 2: Amboseli / Nairobi
An early morning game drive with a view of the giant Mt. Kilimanjaro
the highest in Africa (UHURU PEAK) with snow caped peaks weather
permitting. Search for the big five and the plain game along the
lakes. Return to the lodge for breakfast and latter depart for Nairobi
and drop off at the hotel.
