NSKTC02: 14 days Aberdares - Nakuru - Masai Mara- Amboseli - Ngorongoro Crater-Tarangire or Lake Manyara-Mombasa.
Day 1: Nairobi
Met upon arrival Drive northwards towards Aberdare ranges, through the fertile Kikuyu highlands with pineapple plantations, coffee and tea bushes, arriving in time for lunch at the base hotel. Transfer to the Ark arriving in time for afternoon tea and latter have dinner and overnight game viewing at the natural salt lick and floodlight water hole. Here we have an under ground photographic hide which gives you unsurpassed view of big wildlife at close quarters. Kindly note: Owing to the small limited sizes of the cabins, only a small overnight bag is permitted in the base hotels. The rest of the luggage is left in the base hotel to be retrieved latter the following morning. Strictly children under the age of seven (7) years are not permitted.
Day 2: Aberdare
Culturally oriented tour through the local Kikuyu villages and farms. Optional visit to a school, market or traditional wool-spinners. A visit to the Mau Mau caves where freedom fighters that fought against the British colonial masters in the 1950's used to hide. Dinner and overnight at Aberdare country club. F/B
Day 3: Lake Nakuru
Leave semi arid area for the lake basin or the Great Rift Valley via Thompson's falls in Nyahururu. Arrive in Nakuru in time for lunch. Afternoon visit to the shores of the lake to view millions of migratory birds. Overnight and dinner at Sarova Lion Hill. F/B
Day 4: Nakuru
Full day in Nakuru searching for the shy cat, Rhinos, Hippos and other plain game. Visit Baboon cliff for a panoramic view of the lake passing through the Uphobia forest, which is the biggest in East Africa. Overnight and dinnerSarova Lion Hill.
Day 5: Nakuru-Masai Mara
Depart for Masai mara game reserve, one of the mostly visited reserves in the world. Have an afternoon game drive in search of the big five. Overnight and dinner stay at Mara Safari club. F/B
Day 6: Masai Mara
A pre-breakfast game drive in the rolling grass of Mara in search f the lion, elephant, black rhino, cheetah, leopard, among other plain game. Visit a Maasai manyatta where they will perform dances and a good chance to take their photographs. An optional balloon safari at an extra cost where you will float gently over the grazing animals and has Champaign celebration on landing and a game drive enroute to the lodge. Overnight and dinner at Mara Safari club.FB
Day 7: Masai Mara-Amboseli Via Nairobi
Depart for Nairobi with a stopover at the viewpoint where you will have a paranomic view of the gorgeous landforms weather permitting. Lunch will be at the famous carnivore restaurant and then continue to Amboseli via yatta plateau. Overnight at Amboseli Serena lodge. F/B
Day 8 & 9: Amboseli- Ngorongoro Crater
Leave Amboseli for Ngorongoro crater after breakfast through Namanga the Tanzania and Kenya boarder. Check in for immigration formalities with the help of our guide and continue to Ngorongoro crater for 2 nights. Enjoy being in the flesh water spring as you reach the rim of the world's largest unbroken calderas and been in the Garden of Eden. Overnight stay at Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge or similar.
Day 10: Ngorongoro Crater- Tarangire
Depart Ngorongoro for Tarangire National park after breakfast arriving in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive to search of different plain games and tree climbing lions. Overnight stay at Ngorongoro Sopa lodge. F/B
Day 11: Tarangire-Lake Manyara or Mombasa
Depart for Taveta Kenya/ Tanzania boarder and check out with the immigration office. Meet your driver guide and depart for Mombasa. Overnight stay at Southern Palms Beach hotel. H/B
Day 12 & 13: Mombasa
Two whole days spent in the beaches sun and sand bathing. Alternatively, coastal excursions can be done. Visit to the famous 'Fort Jesus' and other prime areas of interest. Leisure at the beaches and shopping. You will also have a chance to visit the beautiful Mamba village. Dinner and overnight in a Beach hotel. Or optional visit to Malindi can be arranged to see the historic monument and the museum.
Day 14: Departure
Say Kwaheri to the coastal people and transfer to the airport for your flight home.
